Jon, Dave, and I headed up to Timberline Lodge atop Mt. Hood this last weekend for a quick 2 mile hike up to the Palmer snowfield. While it certainly had nothing on friends Chris and Jenn's summit of Mt. Adams earlier in the day, it was still a good way to burn off some of the beer we were consuming throughout the weekend.

Snow is moved down from the glacier, providing a run back to the lodge.

Snowboarders take a break in front of Mt. Hood.

Palmer Glacier Snow Field

One mile up from Timberline, there's still snow up there (barely).

Taking a run.

Palmer and Dave rest up.

One last run.

The Pacific Crest Trail runs right behind Timberline lodge - 550 miles south of Canada, 2108 miles north of Mexico.
