Readjusting

Getting ready to head back up to the Seattle area after a couple of months "visiting" the family down in Lakewood. Can't knock it...free cable, internet, room, and board. Still, if I stay here much longer I'm gonna be walking around in a bathrobe yelling at my mom to bring the meatloaf down.

That's pretty much how it went down. Said to a girl I had seen a few times before in a bar I frequent for lunch. My friend Dave thought the whole thing was pretty self-deprecating and that girls like dorky ask-outs. Who am I to argue?

As part of my neverending quest to amuse myself, I can now ad to the list: badly drawn comic writer. About a month ago I started jotting down recent or remembered conversations that struck me as funny. Even if no one else finds it funny, just remember: Its my blog and I'll do what I want to.
