So if my skills with this blog work correctly, by the time this message posts I'll be out attempting to hike around Mt. Rainier's Wonderland Trail. If you recall, the first time didn't work out so well.
In any case, I'll have along my GPS reciever, so you should be able to check on my progress here: http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0F23z5IJE6yt4Ga5OM9uRIiH3JtfdmzgY
If you wanted to follow along (or assist in SAR), here's the itinerary:
Day 1: Ipsut Creek to Eagle's Roost (Spray Park)
Day 2: to Golden Lakes
Day 3: South Puyallup River
Day 4: Longmire/Cougar Rock
Day 5: Maple Creek
Day 6: Indian Bar
Day 7: Summerland
Day 8: Sunrise
Day 9: Mystic
Day 10: Finish back at Ipsut
With Spray Park added and Ipsut being a 5 mile walk in, all told we'll be putting in about 107 miles on this trip.
Hope for sun!
Klapatche to Maple would be a VERY long day! We ended up doing it in 9 - went from Sunrise right to Ipsut/Carbon River Ranger Station. 10 hours of hiking, but thankful for the nice, soft bed. :)

Sounds like a great route. In early August, I completed a similar route: Sunrise -> Mystic -> Mowich -> Golden Lakes -> Klapatche -> Maple Cr (long day) -> Indian Bar -> Sunrise.
The flowers were the best I've ever seen (and this was my 11th time around). I'll be curious to hear what its like in late Sept.
Have fun!
