What a great weekend, Seattle. 70's, Sunny, with plenty of time to visit friends, welcome in new family, and take in a hike while I was at it.
This is Luke. Yes, I need a haircut.
The Rhoades family finally has a boy named after a Jedi. Life is good.
Sunday morning started with a quick hike up Tiger Mountain and then I grabbed the camera to hit some of Seattle's parks - really the envy of the rest of the country, I'm not kidding.
"Not to correct you but Luke Patrick Rhoades is the second Luke, there is a Luke Thomas Rhoades, my grandson your cousin Joseph's son, which I believe becomes your second cousin. His daughter is Leia."
Lone Star: "So what's that make us?"
Dark Helmet: "Absolutely nothing!"
Ok, I stand corrected. The SECOND Luke...by the way, not to begrudge three relatives now named after star wars characters (and my dad's dog is named "Chewie"), but I'll now start a petition to rename Jon and Amelia's "Luke" to "Lando".

My son and his wife ar true Star Wars fans. When they had the re-release of Star Wars he and his wife dressed up as Darth Vadar and Leia and went to the movie along with a bunch of other Star Wars people. Another tidbit, my cousin Karen, daughter to my mom's sister, she was born on the same day as myself, one year later. Oh the tangled web we weave.

I think all those late nights with your new baby have made you delirious. It was Cougar Mtn. :)

He belongs to my cousin, so that makes him half-Trinidadian(?). Anyway, he'll be a good looking kid.

Don't cut your hair, it looks great! Congratulations on having a Korean baby - they are totally all the rage right now.
