Here are some links that I've been glued to this week:
XRez.com - Ultra high resolution digital photography. Very cool project combining digital photography with some of the mapping technologies you've used on the web.
Stock photos - I love stock photos. I love it even more that my company uses these non-descript, non-offensive stock characters in their sales brochures (grey haired white guy, bald black guy, asian dude with glasses(!), blonde business lady, camera stares = confidence). Apparently they are not the only one. The Wall Street Journal looks into this trend.
Robot Air Hockey - Seriously, what do you need friends for? This one has arcade classic written all over it.
Really? OK, I was getting worried about a near-robot uprising in competitive air hockey. But still...they could probably control it via the internet. Imagine being able to play games with friends over the internet!

This ultra-high res stuff is great. Can't wait for something more interesting than the side of a mountain :P
Oh, and the robot vid was actually only partially in-frame. The part you don't see is the human acting all the motions for the robot. Still cool, but that robot isn't reacting on his own. :)
