On Saturday I rented an SUV and drove up to Marblemount to tackle Cascade Pass and the Sahale Arm. My knees are killing me, my thighs are sore, but my eyes recieved the most workout of all. Just truly spectacular and I wish I was able to share larger sized photos on this site. As it is, email me if you'd like to get a full sized photo, I'm more than happy to share!
On another note, I stopped in the North Cascade Ranger station and I have to say, while its not unusual to see a female ranger, I have never seen young and cute ones before. I mean, I suppose they start out young and cute, but is this where they start out? The first posting before being sent off to points unknown? I need to know these things.
(Warning...expect swarms of biting flies. One slap brought down four of them. Just think of them not as annoyances, but as motivation to outrun them up the trail...)
